Shinjuku Kabukicho walking video at night with walking map & stores.

Shinjuku Kabukicho at night is fun to see many different faces. It is a neo-Tokyo with a variety of stores and restaurants. It is interesting just to walk around the streets without going into a store. Before holidays and on weekends, it is crowded even at midnight. Be careful, however, as the dark, unpopular back alleys can be dangerous. Some people are obviously dangerous, so don’t get involved! And don’t follow the callers. They may charge you a lot of money.
From Kabukicho, head north to the Asian town of Shin-Okubo, east to Shinjuku 2-chome LBGT Town, south to Shinjuku Gyoen, a huge park, and west to the high-rise Nishi-Shinjuku area. Shinjuku 2-chome and Shin-Okubo are also interesting neighborhoods.
The route strolled in the video and nearby stores are introduced.

Pick upShot bar – Zoetrope
One of the few bars in Japan where you can drink Japanese whiskey. The prices are not cheap, but for those who love whiskey, this place will be like heaven. You can also drink valuable whiskies such as Ichiro’s Malt. Some regulars visit this bar every time they come to Japan on business.
The master of the bar is very knowledgeable not only about whiskey but also about movies. Sometimes a nostalgic Japanese movie is shown on the projector by the window of the bar. It is not a large space, but the atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting.
The bar’s logo is a tribute to Saul Bass, who designed the titles for Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Golden Arm” and other films.
A Google search for “bar zoetrope” will give you a good idea of how great this restaurant is. Please check things out. If you are a whiskey fan, you should visit this bar at least once.
